Underage Gambling Policy

< Back to Terms Hub

Version Date: 5th July 2023

Underage gambling is an offence. We are not permitted to allow anyone under the age of 18 to open an account or to gamble with us. We take our responsibility to prevent underage gambling very seriously and have processes in place to help prevent people under the age of 18 from using our gambling services.

We have software and procedures in place to minimise the risk of underage gambling. Also, as part of our verification process, we are required to verify a customer’s age and identity on registration for an account and also while they continue to be a customer. Please click here to see our Verification Policy.

Where we are required to, we will report any suspected, attempted or actual activities of underage gambling to our regulators and law enforcement agencies.

Anyone found to have circumvented our verification policy who is under the age of 18 will have their account immediately suspended, deposited funds returned (minus any funds that have already been withdrawn), all bets voided and any winnings forfeited.

Where there is a dispute as to the age of the customer in question, we may request further documentary evidence so as to be satisfied (as far as we can be) that the customer is not gambling underage.

If you suspect that someone under the age of 18 is gambling with us please contact us to report this. We will ask you to provide details about the person you believe is underage and has been able to gamble with us. This will be investigated thoroughly.

If you are a parent or legal guardian who is concerned that someone they are responsible for may be gambling then please be aware that there are a range of tools that you can use to prevent access to gambling for those that are under the legal age to gamble.

Website Blocking Software

If you wish to monitor or restrict the use of your computer's access to the internet, you can use one of the following third party applications:

  • Net Nanny (www.netnanny.com): General blocking software that protects users of that computer from inappropriate web content. Also available on iOS and Android devices.
  • 27Labs (www.27labs.com): Filtering software allowing you to choose your own sites to block.
  • GamBlock (www.gamblock.com): Specific blocking software for gambling websites. Also available for Android devices.
